Tony Ferrendelli is a Colorado native who sporadically relocates to Southern California because it doesn’t snow. There are more reasons but this is the short version.
His earliest writing memory was...blah, blah, blah.
His background is comedy and there’s a strong humorous element that leans toward sarcastic or observational present in his writing. His stories are largely character-driven and include people uncomfortable with themselves who must change to move forward.
With a strong comedic background, Tony is equally versed in developing and delivering a strong dramatic story.
Much to the dismay of his 4th grade English teacher, and Mom, he can’t conjugate a sentence to save his life. Luckily for him, screenwriting allows a little leeway in that area.
Tony’s screenplays (features, pilots and shorts) have won or placed in multiple screenplay competitions including a Top 50 placement with Academy Nicholl Fellowships and a Finalist as Austin Film Festival.

After ten years as an Alaskan geologist where 1 out of 5 of her (male) colleagues didn’t survive, Mary retired from the dangers of arctic exploration. She began her screenwriting career by writing about those experiences. Her screenplay THE WILD HEART OF ALASKA has been a finalist in several writing competitions. After Alaska she moved to England where she was chosen by a popular British psychic (Loraine Rees) to document the clairvoyant's connections. Following a series of non-fiction books on the psychic’s work, Mary’s screenplays now include horror and supernatural tales, lacing fiction with her personal experiences and views into the nether world. At heart, though, what hooks her is a good story, whatever the genre. She is an executive producer of THE LAST DEAL, listed in the NY Times as one of the top five action features currently streaming.

Benjamin Lee is a writer and director based in New York City. He grew up in Flushing, Queens before spending six years living in London. There he studied filmmaking and scriptwriting while working towards a degree at Goldsmith’s College, University of London.
After graduating he worked on various film projects in the UK, including as director on a short film based on a script given to him by a crew impressed by his work. Shortly thereafter he travelled extensively, visiting South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar, before returning to New York where he has been working as a Production Assistant, writing scripts, networking and voraciously taking in two or three movies a day an any material he can find on filmmaking, art and writing. Everlasting Life is his first feature-length script based on an award-winning short proof of concept screened at festivals in 2016. The full-length script was submitted to the Black List and given a 7/10 rating by professional readers.
Influenced by a diverse array of filmmakers such as Robert Bresson, Ingmar Bergman and Andrei Tarkovsky, as well as Japanese postwar masters such as Kenji Mizoguchi, Akira Kurosawa and Mikio Naruse, Benjamin is captivated by the power of film to cross cultural divides to communicate truth and meaning through shared experience. His work draws heavily on his upbringing, both as a second-generation immigrant and as a Jehovah’s Witness, and through his own experiences seeks to explore the clash between duty and self-fulfilment, and the quest to establish an identity in an uncertain world.

Despina was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece. Defying her parents, she came to the US alone as an undergraduate to study political science and, funny thing, learned a few other things, too. Like how to catch flying swords, when she performed as a Magician’s Assistant at Bermuda’s Hamilton Princess nightclub. Or, how never to trust Americans bearing ‘brownies’, or eat five of them in a row. Lucky her mother never found out any of that especially because Despina went on to become a serious person.
Despina has received an MA in International Relations and another MA in Criminology from the University of Toronto. She has worked in the New York State Legislature as Chief of Staff/Legislative Director for two New York State Senators, and in Canadian TV as Writer, Associate Producer, and On-Air Anchor. She’s a second-degree Black belt. Basketball Coach. Proud mother of two amazing daughters. Lives between Thessaloniki and New York. Despina loves bullet-points because they make everything look more impressive.
Despina writes stories that explore love, feminism, and religion, featuring independent female protagonists in complicated family dynamics who seek to live life on their own terms. Cinema is escapist and that is why she gravitates toward Fantasy. She also loves to write Action and Comedy and anything that results from growing up in Greece, the myths she adored as a kid, or being a Greek in America.
An optioned writer, Despina is a Stowe Story Labs alum, a Top Tier member of Roadmap Writers, and a 51/50 international workshop member with the Academy of Film Writing.
Despina has placed Top 4% on Coverfly and Top 15% at the Academy Nicholl Fellowships. Her scripts have placed in numerous competitions such as Story Pros, Austin Film Festival, LA Femme International Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival, Filmmakers International Screenwriting Awards, Los Angeles International Screenplay Competition, Shore Scripts, London Greek Film Festival, Los Angeles Greek Film Festival, the Filmatic Script Competition, International Women’s Film Festival, and Cinestory.
The first short Despina wrote and produced was shot in San Diego this spring starring the legendary Lainie Kazan (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and Lucas Hassel (The Blacklist). Despina is currently in pre-production for a short film she wrote which she will be directing at the end of February in Albany, NY.
