LOGLINE:  A young woman and her friends come face-to-face with the fabled  Leatherface Lady, believed to slay hikers on the Appalachian Trail, only to discover the killer may, in fact, be the local urban legend’s grandson.

COMPS: Melds Creep and Blair Witch with a touch of Psycho and Friday the 13th. 

DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: The distinguishing feature is the combination of something akin to Grimm’s Darkest Fables and the blend of horror sub-genres. The Leatherface Lady pays homage to films of the past while keeping the found footage element front and center, paving the way for franchise potential with the local legend — June Harper (The Leatherface Lady). The throne is empty for a Slasher Queen!
