LOGLINE: A human trafficking organization within the government pushes a federal agent beyond his limits, forcing him to awaken his military past and call on his old ranger unit to save an undocumented immigrant, whose sister is abducted by a corrupt federal agent.

THE FRANCHISE: The Gurcan franchise so far is comprised of 4 action features and a comic series is underway! 

WHY NOW? The systemic horrors we are facing today call for a film like GURCAN that balances tension, peril, and heart.

The  creators (Bulent Gurcan and Tonia Kempler) pasts intersect in these  pages. Bulent is a former Customs and Border Patrol Agent and knows firsthand how prevalent a scenario like Gurcan is today. Tonia's close  friend's sister was actually kidnapped and taken hostage for ransom by corrupt federal agents. Terrified for her sister's safety, she risked deportation and turned to authorities for help — just like Julianna in GURCAN, she was part of a sting operation that took down corrupt agents and ultimately saved her sister's life.

MARKET APPEAL: This film has the ability to appeal to a broader, less polarized audience than a purely pro-enforcement story or a bleak migrant-focused story.

OUR AIM: We want our film to not only acknowledge the bad apples we have in our system, but also remind the world that there are countless heroes who risk it all to do the right thing. 

We hope to create a ripple affect of social change and awareness to put an end to this human tragedies!
